Binding

Binder
The easiest way to bind the books is to buy a binder and print your books out using 3 hole punched paper.  You can also just use regular paper and three hole punch it yourself.  Staples runs super low specials on regular paper ALL the time so watch for that.

Presentation Folder
You can get presentation folders and some brads and have instant books. Line up your book pages then place the brads through the pages.  Now put that through the back page of the pre-punched presentation folder holes.  This will keep the brads from slipping through the pre-punched holes in the folder.  Once the brads are in place just run some duct tape over the spine where the brads are so little hands (or big ones) don't get hurt.  For extra durability you might want to put duct tape on the corners of the folder.

You can also buy the presentation folders with prongs already.  Usually in the fall these go on sale for .10 ea so stock up and you'll have instant books for pennies.  I store these in sturdy magazine holders.  I've tried cheaper ones but they fall apart.

Hot Glue Books
This one involves using file folders, hot glue and clear contact paper.  You can even buy different colored or patterned file folders to make them look really pretty.  They look and feel very much like real books.  Here's the instructions
